Online booking

Our booking engine is provided and hosted by eviivo.
When you access this service, the processing of certain data—as well as any use of cookies or other trackers specific to the platform—is also subject to the privacy information provided by that service provider.
The data required for your booking is then made available to us so that we can manage your stay.

Payments

When your payment is processed by Stripe, the payment information required for the transaction is processed directly by this secure service provider. Villa Balāo does not store your full credit card details.

5. Data transfers outside the European Economic Area

Some of our service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area.
In such cases, we ensure that these transfers are based on a mechanism recognized by applicable regulations, such as an adequacy decision or appropriate contractual safeguards.

6. How long do we keep your data?

We only retain your data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, and subsequently—where required by regulation—for the applicable statutory retention periods.

Data related to reservations, invoicing, and payments may be retained for the periods necessary to comply with our accounting, tax, or legal obligations.
