Having a good stay can be appreciated in different ways, according to individual tastes, their mood of the moment, and depending on the opportunities that arise. At the Villa Balāo, you will enjoy a high quality setting to rest, and to share wonderful moments.
The outdoor areas are clothing-optional during the warmer months, but not mandatory; everyone is free to enjoy their stay as they wish.

The Table
If there’s one moment that brings everyone together from breakfast to dinner, it’s the Table at Villa Balāo.
Start your day with our gourmet breakfast, made with quality artisanal and local products such as real jams with a good taste of fruit, flavorful garrigue honey, organic eggs, artisanal fruit juices, homemade pastries… Whether you prefer sweet or salty, you will fill up with energy for the day ahead.
Our Table d’hôtes (set menu) is offered depending on availability. We would be delighted to treat you with a light and simple meal, a selection of platters, or even a more elaborate menu.
Dining is a time for conviviality, something we love to share.
Swimming
Heated pool
The heated pool, treated with salt electrolysis, is perfect for a refreshing and relaxing moment under the southern sun, clothing-optional. This pleasant swimming experience doesn’t dry out the skin, unlike traditional treatments.
You can also enjoy a submerged pool deck, an ideal spot for sunbathing. You can lounge in the water. It’s also a friendly space to gather for a relaxing chat while sitting in the water and enjoying a drink.
The 10×4.5 m pool is open on spring and summer, and is maintained at an average temperature of 28°C. (Adjustments may be possible depending on the activity and the season.)
Wellness
High-end Jacuzzi
Near the pool, enjoy a jacuzzi treated with salt electrolysis, a rare process reserved for high-end spas. Accommodating up to 6 people, its active massage stations feature 55 massage jets designed to relieve muscle tension, promote blood circulation, and provide deep relaxation through advanced hydrotherapy: a moment of pure escape.
It’s also an ideal and welcoming relaxation space, where clothing is optional, and you can enjoy a glass of champagne or a glass of local wine.
You can also warm up on cool autumn or winter days; the jacuzzi is heated to 36°C year-round.
Relaxing
Relaxation areas
Various relaxation areas are available for sunbathing, reading, listening to the birds, napping, or admiring the garden. Enjoy them however you like.
Comfortable sun loungers are arranged around the pool for soaking up the sun or napping. They are equipped with parasols and coffee tables.
We also offer large, ethnic-style double sun loungers made from recycled materials, very comfortable, for a cozy moment for two.
Under the natural shade of the mulberry tree, you can read a book or flip through a magazine, comfortably seated in a rocking egg chair with your favorite drink.
And if another corner of the garden tempts you, take advantage of it.
Escaping
Mediterranean garden
With over 150 plant varieties, we invite you to explore our private Mediterranean garden. You can stroll and discover the plants of our beautiful southern region.
A magnificent centuries-old olive tree stands at the entrance to our gay guesthouse, and a majestic cedar will accompany you throughout your stay.
Take the time to sit under the plane tree and listen to the birdsong.
In the morning, you might be lucky enough to see a squirrel pass by your room’s bay window or see its friend nibbling on almonds.

Petanque ground
Pétanque is a southern tradition, a true sport with its own competitions!
Rest assured, pétanque is a hobby here. Shall we play?
Having a good time together, hold your balls firmly in your hand, feel the ground, bend a little, start to move your hand, hesitate over the moment to let go of your balls, and then go for it, let it all go. Oh! Are you shooting or are you pointing?
A must-do for a southern aperitif. A moment of good memories, a local way of life.
Our court is a friendly and comfortable size of 10 x 3.5 m and made from local materials.
